This is the hard workin'ist Women I ever met. She plays a mean boogie-woogie piano. Her songs are insightful, and straight from the heart. She can be your older sister, mother, or friend. Whatever the occasion or mood, she has a song for you.
Bob Stroger is another of the Master Bassist. You just have to listen to Him provide the band, any band with a Rock Solid Bass Line. His playin' almost makes you want to turn down the melody, so you can hear him go. He's another "Must See" Side Dish. Check out His web site.
Unfortunately, Clarence "Gate Mouth" Brown has passed on, and you can't see Him "Live."
He was a Master Musician who, in My opinion, has defined the genre of "Fiddlin' Blues." His influence is so widespread, that I was able to find a music book of His at Guitar Center, that had sheet music with His songs. I secretely tried to sound like Him on My violin, but was unsuccesful. I couldn't duplicate His raw energy and passion.
What can I say about Pine Top Perkins? This Famous Musician is able to "Tickle The Keys" of the piano, then switch to a "Foot Stompin'" Boogie-Woogie Beat without taking a deep breath. When he sings, You want to act naughty. You can't help wanting to get up and dance when He plays a slow tune. And if you're a pretty girl, you better watch out for Him, He does like to flirt.
